Guitar and Tambura Class led by Mr. Tsvetan Radkov
The guitar and tambura class within the “Razvitie – 1870” Community Center offers a tried and tested methodology, using a system of selected artistic works and modern, varied processes to guarantee a fast and easy mastery of the instrument.
Lessons consist of a variety of exercises related to the instruments, both practical and theoretical such as: history and evolution, design and maintenance, notation and tablature, chord structure, fingerstyle, apoyando and tirando, building playing habits and methods including legato, staccato, pizzicato, vibrato, glissando, flageolets, tremolo and arpeggios.
The class organizes and presents two productions that include all students every year – at Christmas and Easter.
Advanced students take part in various local events such as local school productions and community center concerts.
